Keeping Your Cool (the film)
The islands are warm and the water temps are body perfect. But the islands are warm, especially for a roll of film sitting in the sun on a boat deck or in a bag on the beach. So I highly recommend a collapsible cooler bag. The size of a six pack of sodas, or big enough for all your film and a blue ice. If your room has a fridge with a freezer you can put the blue ice pack in every night, ready for use the next day. 'I will have some frozen blue ices ready every morning'. I also travel with a small white towel to put over the bag as well. Hotels frown on guests borrowing towels. Also the thing about beaches is they are quite sandy and that sand seems to find its way into every place you don't want it! You might want one of those very large (sport) zip lock bags for keeping splashing water at bay. Check with your sporting goods store and tell them how much stuff you want to take out on the boat. They can guide you to the right size etc.

You need stuff too!
There is big sun here in the isles so protect yourself with a big brimmed hat and some SPF 30 or so. A long sleeved shirt with a collar, to wear once you think "that's enough sun today". Anyway there is swimming and so on. That's another place the towel comes in handy. Although air drying works for me(the warm breezes), not everyone likes that. Our eyes need shade. Polarized works best. Bring your personal medications.

Camera and related things
Whether your a film or pixel shooter, you will need certain pieces of equipment. Camera(s) and lenses. Some photographers do well with just two zoom lenses. I shoot with a single focal length and carry sometimes 4 or 5 lenses. I do this for better clarity of grain/pixel. One of my photog friends carries one mega zoom on her digital SLR. Her work is top notch. Whatever your style, cover your bases and lenses with (sky1a) filter. Bumps happen. A polarized filter is great to experiment with out on the water. Don't forget extra batteries!
